Tale of two trumpets

There are two big trumpet manufacturers that have been around for a long time. They both make fantastic instruments and have very solid reputations. However, I have noticed that one of these companies is currently generating a lot more excitement in the trumpet world. As a trumpet player myself, I know this firsthand. I feel this new excitement is largely due to that company’s online presence. Both of these manufacturers have Facebook pages but one is updated very regularly and the other is hardly monitored at all.

I attended an International Trumpet Conference not long ago and both of these companies were there. The company that kept up with customers via social media definitely had much more action at their booth. Coincidence? I think not.

I intend to contact both of these companies to offer my services. I’ll post back later with my findings.
